Hi folks, FYI, I recently used a Single Entry 60-day Tourist visa (received at Thai Embassy in Hanoi) and just applied for a 30-day extension. The information I found online was not clear so I want to let people know that this extension is done at Immigration 1 Chaengwatanna , NOT at the Laksi location. It was quick and simple and they did not ask for a TM30 this time.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user shared their experience extending a Single Entry 60-day Tourist Visa in Thailand at the Chaengwatanna Immigration office, clarifying that this specific extension is not processed at the Laksi location. They noted the process was quick, and a TM30 form was not required this time. A commenter added that for tourists entering on a visa exemption, the extension must be done at the Laksi office instead.

Thanks for the heads-up. But that information is not completed.

In Bangkok,

IF you purchased a Tourist Visa before you travelled to Thailand and were stamped for 60 days on TR entry (as you did), you need to go to the Chaengwattana Immigration office, Government Complex Building B for 30 days tourism extension.

BUT

IF you entered Thailand on VISA-EXEMP for free for 30 days without getting Tourist Visa in advance, you need to go to the office at IT Square Laksi Plaza for 30 days tourism extension.
