If your friend has a "permitted to" stamp that's valid for 30 days, your friend entered on a visa exempt.

If your friend lives in Bangkok Proper, she will use Muang Thong Thani immigration office.

1. Your passport and:

a. a copy of your data ("picture") page

b. a copy of your most recent visa (if you have one)

c. a copy of your most recent stamp

d. a copy of your departure card

2. A TM30, filed in the immigration office.

Easiest way is BTS to Wat Phra Sri Mahathat station, then get a cab from the roundabout under the station.

On the TM30, look at the province name. If it does *NOT* say Bangkok, but instead "Nonthaburi" or "Samut Prakan", you would use that respective immigration office.
