Where can I get a 30-day visa extension in Bangkok?

To extend your stay in Thailand by 30 days, your destination will depend on how you entered the country. If you entered on a visa-exempt entry for 30 days, go to the IT Square Laksi Plaza temporary office. If you have a Tourist Visa with a 60-day stamp, head to the Chaengwattana Immigration office. IF you entered Thailand on visa-exempt for 30 days, without purchasing an actual tourist visa, you are going to go to IT Square Laksi Plaza temporary office, just next to Lak Si station of SRT Dark Red Line.

IF you applied for and got a Tourist Visa before you travelled to Thailand, entered on that visa being stamped for 60 days, you are going to go to Chaengwattana Immigration office, Government Complex Building B.

BUT, if you are on any other entry type (visa-waiver, visa-on-arrival, non-immigrant type, etc), you cannot apply for a tourism extension.

, it totally depends on the day you go. Busier in the morning one day, more people in the afternoon on another day.

If you don't get an appointment online in advance, we usually say the day just before or after holidays could be busier.
