Please let us know what happens with your DTV visa application
Go on cheaptickets.com buy an actual ticket. Wait to the iternery come to your email the cancel the ticket. I been doing it for 20yrs. You still have to have the money in your account. And make sure you read the fine print so it can say cancel within 24hrs.
You can book a ticket with Thai airways over the phone and they will send you a draft e-ticket and a payment link. You can submit that e-ticket as your ticket without paying for it.
I spent 3 weeks calling 20+ times a day and got nothing, paid for two standard visas and the one they rejected was because I had to provide a family members id card which is snapped in two
As far as I remember, you need to tell your Embassy when you will be traveling to Thailand. For one it helps them plan on dates of importance. Second, you can always buy a refundable/changeable ticket.
From my understanding, asking for documents almost always means approval as long as you provide them. You have 15k savings you can buy a ticket, in case you don't have one.
