Hi team. Before flying, I have canceled working visa... with a stamp to fly out by July 14th. But unfortunately, flight was impossible till Aug 3rd instead.

How can I apply for this visa extension? Is there 1 month extention/ cost/ and documents required? Thanks much for your advice.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user seeks advice on applying for a visa extension after canceling their working visa and facing a delayed flight due to COVID-19. In response, it is suggested to visit Changwattana in Bangkok to apply for a 60-day extension of stay. Required documents include a passport, copies of relevant pages/stamps, a TM30 form, a letter from the embassy regarding travel restrictions, passport photos, and a fee of 1,900 THB. It is advisable to wait until July 14th for the application to align with the COVID-19 extensions.

[EDIT: Nope, go to Changwattana!]

You would go to [Changwattana] in Bangkok. You would apply for a 60 day extension of stay based on unable to travel due to COVID-19. You would need the following.

1. Your passport and:

a. a copy of your data ("picture") page

b. a copy of your most recent visa (if you have one)

c. a copy of your most recent stamp

d. a copy of your departure card

2. A TM30, filed in the immigration office.

3. The forms (each immigration office may have different forms, and ant to use their special forms)

4. A letter from your embassy saying you can not return, OR a print out from your embassy website saying they don’t issue the letters, OR a print out of a letter from the embassy saying they don't issue those letters.

5. 2x passport pictures

6. 1,900 THB.

I recommend waiting until July 14th, in case the 60 day extension of stay based on unable to travel due to COVID-19 begins on the day you apply.

, OSOS at Chumchuri wouldn't issue a so-called covid extension. OP needs to go to Chaengwattna, I believe.

@Ellie ******
I'm not sure. I think they would because the OP got the original visa and extension of stay from Chumchuri square, so I think they would be the ones to issue it.

What's your thoughts, and the counter she would use?

@Benjamin *****
I saw that stamp and I understood OP did those at OSOS. OP is done with BOI already when got a cancellation. I don't think OSOS would issue anything other than the BOI things. The covid extension is not a part of BOI responsbilities.

Apply for covid visa which is valid for 2 months

The OP would not be applying for a COVID-19 visa. She would be applying for a 60 day extension of stay based on unable to travel due to COVID-19. The Extension of Stay based on Unable to Travel due to COVID-19 is *NOT* valid for 2 months, but for 60 days.

I'm glad Benjamin Hays is pedantic because when it matters it can make ALL the difference 👍

@Paul ****
think once you got your stamp or new slip it would have the expiration date on it my 90 say report always does

@Ken *******
getting an extension of stay and doing a 90 day report are separate activities.

Thai immigration are very pedantic about this.

In Thailand, the concept of "months" and "days" are different. A month may have 28, 29, 30, or 31 days. Two months may be 62 days (31 days each in July and August), which is different then the 60 days.
