Looking for Your advice. I just finished my Muay Thai edu Visa with school in Bangkok. I am now back on single entry tourist visa 60 days with potential 30 to add.
- What are most affordable options to extend stay for 1 year without going back to Europe due to jet lag and high ticket prices?
- Is there list or website that shows schools that offer edu Visa in Bangkok? (Not google ๐)
- Any schools/courses You suggest for edu visa in Bangkok?
- Other options such as work visa, would it require me to go back home or can I change status in Thailand or SE Asia ?
I am from Serbia, not sure if Visa run would work for me, I may need to always get tourism visa back home. My previous edu visa I got in Ho chi min, preferably would like to go there again and get a new one 6-12 months.
Thank You ๐

TLDR : Answer Summary
The poster is seeking advice on affordable options to extend their stay in Thailand after completing a Muay Thai education visa. They currently hold a single-entry tourist visa and want alternatives that do not require returning to Europe due to high travel costs. They inquire about schools in Bangkok that offer education visas and ask about changing visa status within Thailand, particularly regarding work visas. Comments suggest that while there is information online, they should consider more targeted questions for valid advice.
There are pages and pages of information out on the inter-web about learning thai in bangkok. Google is your friend..

If you are looking for a visa-mill school, maybe another FB group is the place for you to ask. Admins are always saying this is not the group to ask โhow can I stay longer in Thailandโ...
You cannot be taken seriously if you only want to study Thai language a couple of hours a week. That would be the definition of a visa-mill school. If you want a real school then go to Duke Language School on Soi 13.
I am not looking for visa-mill. I actually am willing to attend classes and learn. My Thai is super basic so wouldn't mind actually learning to communicate.

I applied for an education visa at Bangkok about two weeks ago. Prices seem to be anywhere around 28-35k for a 9 month. Thai language. You might wanna consider the same if you like this country enough to stay in for so long:)
Awesome. I want to go with that option just need to find appropriate school. One that doesn't require me to go 20+ hours weekly to it as starters and doesn't cost arm and leg to attend ๐
