What do you do if you don't have a Thai contact to put on your online visa app for the US? I have no friends and I'm applying for a tourist visa, but I can't submit it until I put something in that section. Help? Be kind it's been a long day.

TLDR : Answer Summary
If you don't have a Thai contact for your US tourist visa application, you can enter the name and address of the hotel where you will be staying. Many users suggest using either your ASQ (Alternative State Quarantine) hotel or your next accommodation after ASQ. It's generally accepted that this is sufficient information, and it’s unlikely the embassy will follow up on the specifics.
hey! I just sent you a PM about your experience, would love to get some advice :)

I read you should write hotel name and Address

Put my number

Put contact from hotels name. Also, I would expect them to literally never follow up on this.

Put the name of the next hotel you're staying at.

That would be awesome😃. I’m going to put ASQ hotel address🤣. So that I don’t have to book another hotel for couples days but when I arrive Bangkok airport hopefully they won’t ask a proof where I’m going to stay after ASQ
Idk why but different people told me different things idk who to listen. Some ppl told me to put the ASQ hotel adress and some ppl tod me i can't put the ASQ hotel adress.
Some ppl told me i have to book two hotel one is for ASQ . and the other hotel for couples days to proof where u going to stay after ASQ
yes I would say so. They’re not expecting you to know anyone in Thailand. The same form is used for all sorts of visa applications, some of which require you to have a sponsor or contact, which is why it’s a required field.
