Hello everybody. I have a Non-B teaching visa and work permit and got a 1-year stamp. I am Dutch and my British partner will come here in a week on his third tourist Visa. We are not married and we want to get married in BKK in order for him to get the Non-O visa because proof of a long-term relationship is not enough, you actually have to sign wedding papers. He does not work and is not planning to work, he would be depending on me. Is this possible and if so, does anyone have information about this process? It would be a marriage between 2 foreigners within Thailand and a Non-O after that. Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
A Dutch citizen with a Non-B teaching visa plans to marry their British partner in Thailand to allow the partner to apply for a Non-O visa. The process involves registering the marriage at the local district office, as proof of relationship is insufficient for visa purposes.

There's two amphurs in Bkk that definitely do marriages for 2 foreigners. Laksi and BangRak. You'll need an appointment, translator if your thai is poor, 2 witnesses that actually know you and freedom to marry certificates from your embassies which will need to be translated and certified.
