TLDR : Answer Summary
The inquiry concerns the best visa choice for a UK citizen married to a Thai national, considering options like a 30-day tourist visa, a marriage visa, and a NON-O visa. The individual is weighing the benefits of these visas based on factors such as costs, duration, insurance requirements, and age. Responses suggest that the NON-O visa might be the most suitable option, offering fewer complications around return tickets and better aligning with residency plans.

Yes, I like the way it's done. People that are fully Vaccinated need Covid Insurance same as Unvaccinated.

so am I reading this right iff I come on a o visa for 90 days I will need travel corvid insurance to cover that period and then require my marriage visa I can actually enter Thailand. On a one way ticket don’t need to buy a return because we meet all the visa requirements ie financial wise. Have a home 🏡 to and my wife will get my name in the yellow book

With Non O from UK you wont need to purchase a return ticket and will need 3 months insurance about 6000 baht. (Need check 90 days cannot remember exactly)

Tourist visa insurance depends on your return ticket.

Prices are approximate and costs are axa from arawan namak

30 days 2600

60 days 4200

90 days 6000.

Not sure if your age will be a factor. Need to check.

Personally i would enter on non O. Messing around with return tickets getting refunds etc is a pain
