Has the UK tourist visa extension changed to 45 days or remained at 30 days?
Quick question. From next month is the UK tourist visa extension increased to 45 days or 30 days still? Is the 45 days only on arrival?
Answer summary
The UK tourist visa extension rules state that starting from next month, the visa exemption entry will be increased to 45 days. However, visa extensions will still only be granted for 30 days and can be done once.

Don’t think it’s been published in the Gazette yet but 99% certain it will come in to effect tomorrow. 45 days for visa exempt ENTRY only. Extensions will remain the same at 30 days (once only).
