Does anyone out there know has the 60 day visa exemption for the 90 odd countries that got it extended gone back to 30 days yet?

First 1 at office there after online. If you leave Thailand and return the first one always has to be done in person.

Not sure what the process is where you are; but, here in Issan they want to see your updated bank book at the first 90 renewal after your annual renewal. My guess is that is the reason for the in person requirement. Make sure you update your bank book before you go to immigration.

@Ken ******
Wow, you know the immigration requirements for all 20 provinces of Isaan. That's amazing, since every province has their own policies and requirements, and you fail to list a specific province in your statement.
Ken *******

@Brandon ***********
so you think there's no requirement at every immigration office to show an updated bank book? If that's your story stick with it; and, see how that works out for you.

Ken Wayne I just did my first 90 day with a non-o 800K and CW/Bangkok did not ask for bank statements.

As I said, you are talking about ONE office. I'm talking about basically EVERY OTHER office. And I know for a fact.
Ken *******

@Brandon ***********
that's true only for people using the
*****
monthly income option. The option requiring minimum ie. 800k definitely requires the updated bank book at the first 90 restamping. That's their way of making sure people aren't trying to scam the system. FYI the 800k option doesn't require 12 months of bank statements.

@Ken ******
I KNOW for a FACT there is no requirement to show bank book at almost EVERY immigration office. It's checked at your next extension, when they require 12 months of bank statements.

My agent always reminds me when my 90 day is due and she'll do it for nothing.

However, it gets me out of the house. I use Nong Khai immigration and regardless how busy it is I'm usually in and out of the building in 10 mins!!

Its not just the first 1 done in person. Any time you leave the country your next 90 day is done in person again.

I've been doing mine in person in Prachinburi for years. We drive into town spend 5 minutes at immigration and go do some shopping and have lunch. Makes for a nice outing. We're retired it beats sitting around the house all day, and I still don't trust the on-line system.

1.. you really believe they do that for 500 bath? Maybe you also believe Santa clause does really exist.

2.. if you are so convinced you'll take an agent. Then why wasting our time with a question you already have an answer.

3.. people posting so many things not needed to go public with. I don't know why. But they are the reason we stop reading posts, and that people that have a SERIOUS question don't get answers.

Anyway. I hope for you, that you find an agent, who is honest, and does that for 500bath.

Marc De Groote What you on about been rich? find an honest one?

It's a 90 day report. Some people just do not like the anxiety dealing with immigration. Some do the 90 day report as part of a package.

It's no concern of yours so why contribute nothing when you can just scoll on by.
