Hi I have no doubt this has been asked before but I can’t find the answer,if I come in on a 30 day visa exempt can I change to a Non O retirement in my province or am I better getting a 60 day visa in Australia, the money in the Bank is no problem

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring whether they can transition from a 30-day visa exemption to a Non-O retirement visa while in Thailand or if it would be more advisable to obtain a 60-day tourist visa before traveling. Community comments suggest that the ability to switch visas depends on gathering necessary documents within the 30-day timeframe, advising that if this is manageable, they can opt for the visa exemption.
