Can i pay for the visa in the Airport if i gonna stay for 1-3 months in Thailand đŸ‡č🇭

I Come from Sweden Europé i also hear they changes the rules and like that for Visa and more.

Being Swedish you have to apply for an e visa on the appropriate site otherwise just come and get a 30 day visa waiver.

You don't need a visa if you are going for 30 days or less. You will get a waiver free visa wwhen you go through immigration.

When going to Thailand for 31 - 60 ( 90 )days, the 60 days touristvisa is the best option.

It is cheaper than visa excempt + 30 days extension.

No need of a onward ticket ( 90 days 1 onward ), if returnticket within 60 days.

It is easier to apply from the comfort of your home.

thaievisa.go.th

Not wasting holiday time to find, go to and waiting at a immigration office ( 90 you would need that ).

Then no need to leave Thailand in up to 90 days.

No.

You coming here with a Swedish passport gives you a Visa Exemption of 30 days.

You do not pay for anything on arrival, but you will need to show proof of outbound flight from Thailand within 30 days.

You can extend these 30 days at a Immigration office in Thailand, 1900 for another 30 days. But after this, you need to leave.

If you want 3 months in Thailand, apply for a Tourist Visa ( or Non O for Retirement if you are 50+ and fill the other requirements ) BEFORE you come here.

A normal Tourist Visa gives you 60 days when you arrive, and can be extended with another 30 days for a total of 90 days.

 Ok, det er det flyselskapet du har kjÞpt billett med som kan spÞrre deg om du har visum eller billett ut av Thailand innen 30 dager. Noen krever dette og noen spÞr ikke om det. Det kan vÊre lurt for sikkerhets skyld Ä bestille en rimelig billett med fly eks fra Bangkok til Phnom Phen i Cambodia. Det fÄr man for rundt 500 sek pÄ nett. Det beste var jo om du kunne bestille den billetten du tenker Ä bruke nÄr du uansett planlegger Ä reise ut av Thailand innen en mÄned.

 You will need a outbound ticket either way.

If you do not have one you may be denied boarding in Sweden.

The application process for Tourist Visa will tell you if you need outbound ticket when you apply for a Tourist Visa.

If yo are a Swedish Citizen, you apply here

 book your 2nd ticket from Thailand to the next country you want to go to. It’s better that you book it early as the prices are cheaper. The only snag is it needs to be at 30 days, but you can always change that later. I see that Scoot airline have good prices and a change ticket pricing option if you think you might change the date. Airasia is bad for being expensive with flight changes. You should be more specific on when you are planning for that next country visit though if you want the best advice

 Ja formelt mÄ du det nÄr du ankommer pÄ 30 dagers visumfritak. Du blir neppe spurt i Thailand men flyselskapet ditt i Sverige kan kreve det. Som jeg har vist sier formelle krav at en buss billett ut er tilstrekkelig. Hadde noen venner som bare kjÞpte en billett fra Nong Khai i nord til Laos pÄ nett som de ikke brukte. Har reist mange ganger uten billett selv, men vet at noen har fÄtt problem ved innsjekk nÄr fe skal reise.

 The airline is in theory obligated to check for a outbound ticket, and if you do not have one if they ask you will be denied check-in.

Many are lucky and don't get asked, and many are not lucky and do get asked.
