Does extending a visa exemption count as applying for a visa in Thailand?

Hi team I did have a quick search but didn't find anything. Sorry if this is a stupid question. I've done one extension of my visa exemption before in Thailand (60 day visa exemption on arrival then applied for extra 30 days), does this count as applying for a visa previously? I think not but I want to double check!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired whether their previous extension of a visa exemption (60-day visa exemption plus a 30-day extension) counts as having applied for a visa. The responses confirmed that it does not count as applying for a visa.

I'm curious as to why you search for this information in the first place... 🤔 There is no indication that having been to Thailand before, with or without having a visa, has any inpact on a DTV-application.
