TLDR : Answer Summary
A user inquired whether they could enter Thailand on a Non-O visa and then do a border run to obtain a 60-day visa exemption upon return. Several community members shared their experiences, indicating that it is possible to use a Non-O visa for an extended stay and mentioned options for visa extensions or applying for a family's visit visa.

. Thanks Lloyd. I am coming to marry my partner and will get i hope marriage visa but I might run out of time to complete the visa application hence reason to maybe extend.
you cannot get marriage visa without proof of legally married to a Thai woman. If you visit Thailand to marry her, you cannot get non-O before your marriage.
