hi, when applying for spouse visa for dtv, does the money need to be int he name of the spouse or the name of the sponser ( current dtv visa holder?)

The bank account can be in the spouse's name if the spouse has the money, otherwise the main DTV holder will supply a sponsorship letter and show their Bank statement
