I have a question about the DTV spouse Visa

My partner and I are traveling to Vietnam next week to apply for the DTV visa under the Soft Power Muay Thai category. We are applying together, but the DTV visa is under my partner’s name since he is the one registered for the course.  

I would like to apply for the spouse visa to be granted under his DTV. 

My question is: 

🦋Do I need to wait for his DTV visa to be approved first and then submit my application with his approved visa as proof? 

🦋Or can I submit my application at the same time as his and simply upload his course details in my documents so that we can be approved together?

From my understanding, you have to wait for his to get approved because they will want to see that you are linked to his.

Are you a legally married man and woman ?

For Thai Visas, Thailand does not recognize same sex marriages.

One must be Thai.
