For a Non-O ext renewal - Does it matter if the 1 year bank statement and bank letter are a few days old on the day of application, as long as the bank book is updated the same day?
Answer summary
The age of bank statements and bank letters for a Non-O visa extension application can vary depending on the local immigration office. Generally, statements can be up to 7 days old, but this is not uniform across Thailand. Some offices may require the statement to be updated the same day as the application. Personal experiences suggest that while some offices are lenient, others may strictly enforce same-day updates, so it is recommended to check with your specific immigration office to avoid issues.

Generally I recieve my Statement the day or 2 before I renew my Marriage Visa.
The purpose of that statement is to show that I've met my obligations to bring in a min of 40K bt a month.
They still demand I update it on the day of renewable which is totally ridiculous..
I went to Prachinburi immigrations five times in February one of those reasons was he had passed my bank statements. 3 days before wanted an update certificate to say I was still married. When I came back the next day, he rejected my bank statements and certificate because he wanted it on the day. So I had to go to the bank and get the money unfrozen. To get a full certificate showing the funds Available, although the bank did refreeze, it
For a few more months
After that to take the letter stamped on the day
Although it was 3 days of travelling an hour each way until he told me I could use another branch who would contact my branch. Luckily, there was a Bangkok bank. Around the corner, from an immigrations, there took a bit of time sitting there because my local brunch had to contact head office Bangkok, to authorise the release. For the local branch to give me a certificate on the day stamped to go back to immigrations. To be stamped in i would say, don't take any chances. Nowadays. Get your certificate and statement stamped on the day before you go
In Chiang Mai I had it turned down. Usually need day before if early morning at immigration next day. If afternoon immigration they wanted same-day from me. Had to run back to bank to get updated
Completely depends on your local immigration office. Mine here in Prachinburi wants everything dated that same morning but I've heard some offices allow 2 or 3 days.
