Hi everyone this question is for those who have a DTV and has already did the 6 month reentry , does immigration ask to see your bank account to show proof of the 500k Bhat before allowing you back into the country again? Saw on someone’s TikTok that they were denied because they didn’t have proof when they were asked to show.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The question discusses whether individuals with a DTV (Digital Nomad Visa) must provide proof of 500,000 Baht in their bank account upon reentry to Thailand. Based on community responses, it seems that most individuals have not been asked to show such proof during their reentries, suggesting that it may not be a common requirement.

Never been asked in 5 reentries . There is someone who leaves and reenters weekly on the DTV and never been asked.

From the point of view of an immigration officer, I think leaving and re-entering frequently is better than every 180 days.

ok, makes sense. My mate Chat GPT said similar, frequent short visits look better than an extended stay of 180 days..Reality though many stay 6 mths no probs.

interesting , why is that ?

Because if one always uses up their maximum permitted stay, it looks like their place of residence is Thailand.
