Does a sponsorship letter suffice for all DTV soft power visa applications in Thailand?

Under the information about the DTV on the info page is says

"Financial evidence: amount of no less than ฿500,000 ( $ 14,750+ ) for the last 3 months, e.g. bank statements, payslips, sponsorship letter"

Does sponsorship letter work for all softpower?

If i do a medical soft power application what does this sponsorletter need to say?

My impression is that a sponsorletter is to secure and cover your stay, but should that then say 5 years or 180 days??

Anyone used a sponsorletter on a softpower dtv?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around the use of a sponsorship letter for Thailand's DTV (Digital Nomad Visa) under the soft power application. It clarifies that sponsorship can indeed be used across all DTV types, but the specifications vary based on the embassy. The letter should establish the relationship between the sponsor and applicant and indicate the sponsor's commitment to cover the applicant's costs, ideally for five years. It's also noted that medical reasons and supporting documentation play an essential role in the application process.

BTW, the sponsor might need to provide an adequate funds proof bank statement

The Medical reason and supporting documents from the doctor and hospital which is to treat you is VERY important for the DTV Visa.

Sponsorship letter... what is your relationship with the sponsor ?

Family member or employer?

There are few reports of success with using a sponsorship letter.

Sponsorship can work for all DTV options. Embassies have different sponsorship criteria such as employer only sponsors. You will need to check with the embassy you apply from for the specifics. The letter should state the relationship to the applicant, willingness to cover costs of stay and for how long. Cover for 5 years would be ideaI. I have seen a couple of posts with sponsorship which should be in the threads.
