How long does it take to get a tourist visa from the Thai embassy in Malaysia and do we need an appointment?

The processing time for a Thai tourist visa varies by location in Malaysia. In Kuala Lumpur, an appointment is required; you can submit your application on one day and collect the visa the next. In Penang and Kota Bharu, appointments are not necessary; however, the collection times differ, with Penang taking an additional day. It's advisable to check specific requirements on the embassy's website and consider seasonal demand when applying.
