TLDR : Answer Summary
The processing time for a Thai tourist visa varies by location in Malaysia. In Kuala Lumpur, an appointment is required; you can submit your application on one day and collect the visa the next. In Penang and Kota Bharu, appointments are not necessary; however, the collection times differ, with Penang taking an additional day. It's advisable to check specific requirements on the embassy's website and consider seasonal demand when applying.

It depends on which embassy you apply at, and what time of the year, ex. apply well ahead of time to go in the high high season.

Then contact that embassy, that is strangely enough the best way to get the 100% correct answer.

Apply now, and the embassy has almost 2 weeks longer to proces the application, and most embassies proces according to the departuredate and not when applyed.

KL requires appointment. You submit on day one and collect on day two.

Penang and Kota Bharu do not need appointments. In Penang you submit on day one and collect on day three.

I don’t know the time frame for Kota Bharu. Perhaps others can advise.
