I’m going to HCMC to apply for a tourist visa. I will have all the proof that they need. But for my proof of funds, I’m not sure if they except cash, an update copy of my bank book, or if I have to go into the bank and ask for a specific copy?
TIA
TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a Thai tourist visa at a consulate, you typically need to provide proof of funds in the form of a bank statement that displays your name and account balance, rather than cash. It's important to ensure that this is a bank statement rather than just an update on your bank book. Depending on the country, some might require certified bank statements covering several months. When entering Thailand, however, you may be asked for proof of funds in cash.
