Hello 🙂

I am currently in Cambodia after spending 60 days in Thailand on a visa exemption and then a 30 day extension. Planning to go back to Thailand but will be heading to the embassy today to apply for a tourist visa. Do you think because I’ve spent 60 days already there that I might have trouble getting approved for a tourist visa? Also, the documentation needed to apply for one aka proof of funds and flight out of Thailand. Does that need to be printed off and handed in with my application or can it be shown on my phone? Just needing to know if I need to find a printing place here to get it sorted.

Thank you kindly 🙏🏾

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking guidance on applying for a Thailand tourist visa after previously staying in the country for 60 days on a visa exemption plus a 30-day extension. They are concerned about potential issues due to their travel history and inquire about the necessary documentation, specifically whether it needs to be printed or can be shown digitally. Responses indicate that it is advisable to print all required documents and that having spent 60 days in Thailand should not hinder their visa approval.

My 2 cents. Cambodia is cheaper . Easier overall to fly than go by land.

Better? Only you can answer that question.

Cheaper? See above.

Weather? See above.

People? See above.

What to see? Cambodia - Angkor Wat

Thailand - The list is too long.

Border crossing or arrive by air? See answer to question 1.

You’re welcome. Happy to help.

Just don't enter Thailand using the Poi Pet land border crossing.

They're known for turning people away, including genuine tourists, with valid visas.

hi there! Which border do you recommend? Ive only been to laos border and planning to pass if there is difference?

If you're coming from Cambodia to Thailand, use any border crossing that isn't Poi Pet.

That one's the one to avoid.

The Cambodia-Thailand border has plenty of other crossing points.

You will be fine. Visa can take 3 business days to process in PP. enjoy

Will you be sitting next to the person picking up your visa application for two days showing your phone until they're done? No right? So better print it.

No worries about your travel history, 60 days so far is not (yet) excessive. You'll get a visa.

You need a reason to visit.

For Thailand you need to print off everything and sign it in blue ink
