Hello. I am am expat going to the UK for a visit this month. On theThai Pass application in the purpose for arrival I have checked "returning to Thailand".Apparently, according to the AQ hotel, the application will not receive this and continues to tejrctcmy application. They have advised me to change my purpose to "travel" and give a random date for departure.
My concern is that they will either ask to see my return ticket and or raise questions of dishonesty because I do have a visa. For my "random" date of departure I will put my visa expiration date which is in June.
Has anyone one had similar issues and if so how did this work out?
TLDR : Answer Summary
An expat having issues with the Thai Pass application is seeking advice on how to properly indicate the purpose of arrival, as checking 'returning to Thailand' results in rejection. Suggestions include changing the purpose to 'travel' and entering a random departure date. Other comments reveal that individuals have faced similar situations, often without being asked for a return ticket. The expat is particularly concerned about the implications of dishonesty and is looking for experiences from others who have navigated this process.
