Is it a problem if I didn't get an entry stamp in my passport when applying for a DTV from South Africa?

Hi everyone,

I'm about to apply for DTV. I'm in South Africa but didn't get an entry stamp into my passport as I used an e-gate to scan my passport. Is that a problem?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is applying for a DTV visa from South Africa and is concerned about not receiving an entry stamp upon using an e-gate. Responses confirm that this is not an issue, as the entries and exits are recorded in the immigration system.

Don't you mean you didn't get an Exit stamp . In that case it's not a problem because it's in the system that you left the country

I think he's talking about the entry stamp from SA immigration to be used as proof of location when he's applying for the DTV.
