TLDR : Answer Summary
The requirement to fill out the TM6 form at immigration when holidaying in Thailand has been suspended for those arriving by air; it still exists for land border entries. Travelers should be aware that visa-exempt entries are for 60 days, not 2 months, and plans for an online registration for visa-exempt entries are in progress.

The TM6 card was suspended about 2 years ago except for land border entries. However, they plan to launch an online registration for visa- exempt entries. They've postponed it once. Also, the visa-exempt entry is for 60 days not 2 months so don't mess up your return flight or it will cost you 1900 baht for an extention
