I’m moving and my landlord asked me to take care of my TM30. Do I just go to immigration and update them of my new address? *Update* I’m in Chiang Mai and moving to Hang Dong area of Chiang Mai.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user asks about the process of updating their TM30 form after moving to the Hang Dong area of Chiang Mai. From community comments, it appears that TM30 is specifically for reporting one's address, while TM28 applies to changes in residence from one address to another, indicating that the user may need to fill out both forms as applicable.

Tm 30 is for reporting your address, TM 28 is for moving from one address to another one.

haha...yeah; same thing I thought until I was ridiculed and called a liar for guessing that’s what the office was. Moving forward I will use the term, “alleged”.

I’ve been here for 40 days and have yet to receive mine. Had to go to the ___ office for a duplicate. (Still no idea what the name of that office is.)

The reason the landlord asked you to is he probably didn't want to pay the fine.

You take the TM30 form, fill it in, copy id and housebook of owner, both signed by owner and you can register in Chiang Mai Immigration Office.
