I have a question about my COE. This is a bit complicated. I was originally applying for a COE and I was going on Visa Exemption Scheme. I was not approved because of my flight having too many transits. They sent me a link to update my COE with a new flight. Since I had 3+ weeks before my new flight I decided I would just apply for the TR visa. When I updated my COE application I changed my flight and I changed my answer to “No” about entering by Visa Exemption Scheme and selected that I didn’t have a valid visa. (Because I hadn’t applied for the TR visa yet) It was approved but I hadn’t applied for my TR visa yet. Now that I have my TR visa do I have to do anything to my COE???
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user initially applied for a Certificate of Entry (COE) while on a Visa Exemption Scheme but faced issues due to flight transits. Upon changing their travel plans, they updated their COE to reflect their intention to apply for a TR visa instead. After receiving the TR visa, they are unsure if they need to modify their previously approved COE. Community responses suggest that if flight details remain unchanged, there may be no need to alter the COE, but contacting the issuing embassy for confirmation is also recommended.
