Thai E-visa site says they have requested document but I haven’t received an email with what they require. (London embassy) Does it normally take a while for the email to come in?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The Thai E-visa site may take some time to send an email after requesting additional documents. Users recommend checking spam or junk folders for the email and suggest contacting the embassy via Facebook Messenger if no email is received within a few days. The Thai Embassy in London is noted for their efficiency, and responses are often quick. It's advised to provide all necessary details when contacting them for the best assistance.

also when they request additional information it’s usually just a formality and the E-Visa is ready to be sent it’s just crossing the “T’s” and doting the “I’s”at their end.

I am pretty sure you will receive the visa within 24hrs of submitting what they have requested

I have a sneaky feeling the document they’re requesting is in regards to my flights. Because I’m not flying in directly to Thailand but going to Malaysia Singapore and Indonesia first. Hoping they’ll accept if I attach these other flights

Just contact them if it's not with you after 5 days of being approved.

There shouldn't be much of a difference between the status changing and you receiving the e-mail. Make sure you check your junk mail folder and potentially deleted items folder to see if you have some rule that may have disposed of it.

And if you don't get anything back within a day then I would reach out to them on Facebook messenger.

If you do reach out on Facebook messenger you should send everything needed to respond to you in one simple message for example:

Name

Passport number

Visa applied for

Application Date

Application Number

"Hello I am messaging about my e-visa status that has changed to documents requested but I have not received any e-mail. Could you please let me know what additional information you are looking for and where to send it? Thank you"
