Been in Chiang Rai immigration for my 90. Brought a completed TM30. Place was packed at 1.30, around 15 minutes a person wait time. Gave them the TM30 and the officer said it's not needed from my residence only needed from other places I stay at.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A recent experience at Chiang Rai immigration regarding the 90-day reporting showed that a TM30 form is not required to be submitted for your resident address. It was clarified by the officer that the TM30 is only necessary for other places you may stay at.
