I myself was searching for this information didn’t run across it if it’s here and also found some info but it was conflicting. Houston Texas here and just approved for my DTV visa but have dependents I want to apply for as well. Used Washington DC Embassy. I specifically asked about 12 and under for my specific situation. Applicants funds are sufficient to show for the 500,000 baht when applying for dependent visa. Just wanted to place this information here for anyone that may be looking for it or need it. I know I also read that it depends each embassy so shoot them an email.

they were very quick with the response. They told me that they are backed up with applications so email is the fastest way for response

Thanks for the info! I’ll email them this week for my own peace of mind, since I’ll be applying under Soft Power and my daughter will be 15 at the time of applying, so just slightly different circumstance than yours.

Technically is says you can use the principle DTV applicant’s bank account, but it doesn’t actually state that 500,000K is enough to cover all applicants. For example, the Manila embassy says you can use the main DTV applicant’s account as well, but also in their Q&A states that you need an additional 500K in that account for each additional person.
