Hi everyone, no doubt a similar question has been asked before. I'm currently here on a 90 day Non O entry. Do I have to report my accommodation status every time I alternate between my current location here in Uttaradit and our ( wife's ) house in Chiang Mai ?
Answer summary
The user is inquiring about the need to report their accommodation status while on a 90-day Non-O entry visa in Thailand, particularly when alternating between two locations: Uttaradit and Chiang Mai. Comments suggest that if both locations are under the user's control without a landlord, they only need to use one address consistently for their 90-day reporting, especially when applying for an extension. There are recommendations to keep the address the same for reporting purposes and that the user should file the TM30 for the location where they intend to apply for an extension.

Will you be getting an extension as your 90 day exit date approaches because, if so, that is the time when you will need a current TM30?

Hi Graham Seal , yes that is my plan

Glen Bryden you will only be able to apply for a 1-year extension, when you apply at the specific Immigration office that serves the area where you are TM30 registered. You cannot use any other Immigration office

If they are both your places and don't have a landlord or anything, just use the one you'll be getting your extension at. There's no one else that will be reporting a TM30 to replace your existing one, so there won't be a need to file again when going back and forth. Just make sure you use the same address for your 90 day reports to keep it consistent.

obviously OP is here only for 3 months. So no "90 days report" is necessary.
