If I plan to enter Thailand on a visa exempt stamp (Myanmar/Kanchanaburi), am I expected to carry proof of funds, onward flight and accommodation? Not done this for a few years and wondered what the latest info was. Many thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
If you are entering Thailand on a visa exempt stamp and are border-bouncing from Myanmar at the Kanchanaburi border, you typically do not need to provide proof of funds, onward flights, or accommodation. However, if you are entering Thailand from a different country (not just bouncing back) at this crossing, these documents could be requested.
I ask because IF you're entering thailand from burma (as in not just bouncing out of thailand and back in) you COULD be asked for proof of funds, onward travel, hotel booking
BUT
If all you're doing is border-bouncing <- stamping out of thailand, stamping in&out burma and right back into thailand you will NOT be asked for any of that at that crossing point.
