Hey guys.
Quick question, I’ve looked but can’t find.
We’re doing our ‘45day visa exempt’ 30days extension (mouth full) and I’m just trying to clear up if we still need proof of onward travel to get the extension?
We provided our ‘onward flight’ proof when entering (onward flight website ticket) but do we need to again provide information or flight bookings for next destination?
Kindest.
TLDR : Answer Summary
When extending a 30-day visa exempt stay in Thailand, it is generally not necessary to provide proof of onward travel. While some users reported that they were not asked for this documentation during their extension process, experiences may vary between different immigration offices and officers. It's advisable to be prepared with some form of onward travel documentation, but many have successfully obtained extensions without it.
