When i came to Thailand a few weeks ago. I flew into Suvarnabumi. They didnt have any entry cards to fill in. They said i dont need one. Is this normal? Maybe because i have an Elite visa?

TLDR : Answer Summary
Recently, some travelers have observed that entry cards (TM6) are no longer required upon arrival in Thailand, specifically at Suvarnabhumi Airport. This change seems to be a temporary measure that was implemented a few months ago due to efficiency improvements in the tracking system. Travelers have confirmed that they were not asked to fill out entry cards at both entry and exit points. This situation has led to discussions about the practicalities of entry cards, with some travelers expressing hope that this change will remain permanent. It's noted that having an Elite visa may also contribute to not needing the entry card.
New computer system allows them to track you better.
That card was just a PITA if you didn't have it when it was time to leave. I always taped mine inside my passport as soon as I got my Sim card at the phone counter.
A step in the right direction, now they will realize all that paper does absolutely NOTHING….but wasting people’s time standing at the airport and thereafter all that paper has to be thrown away….LOSE/LOSE situation
Mark Ceenex I'm married so I stick with that, I have a few good investments back in the UK and some decent money which means I shouldn't really have to work much if at all and have a simple life but still not quite enough for me to just splurge 10 grand on a visa but good for you if you can man 👍
Mark Ceenex I bet you stand in line at immigration flashing too, to be fair I used to do that with my old passport that was full of stamps to make me look cool 🤣🤣
