Hello everyone !!

Need some advice, I am planning a trip to Thailand and Hong Kong this winter, I have a few questions.

1. Our flight will be having (haven't booked tickets yet) a layover in Thailand (DMK/bkk) , so do I need a transit visa ?

2. Suppose, if we land in DMK and our next flight to Hong Kong is from bkk , do weed need a multiple entry tourist visa ?

Thanks in advance ! ๐Ÿ™

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about the need for a transit visa due to a layover in Thailand while traveling to Hong Kong, and whether a multiple entry tourist visa is necessary for connecting flights between DMK and BKK airports. They receive advice that Indian nationals can obtain a 15-day visa on arrival in Thailand; however, a transit visa may be required if landing at one airport and departing from another.

Indian nationals buy a 15 day visa on arrival to thailand when you land here for 2000baht. Or you get a visa from VFS Global in india before you come here. I think you'd definitely need a transit visa if you are landing at one airport and departing at another one.

You could get a transit visa (that stamps you in for 30 days) or you could get a tourist visa (that stamps you in for 60 days).
