TLDR : Answer Summary
A multiple entry tourist visa for Thailand allows you to stay for nearly 9 months if you time your entries correctly. You can exit and re-enter to receive a 60-day stamp upon each entry, which can be extended for an additional 30 days.

Timing entries right you can get near to 9 months from that visa. Exit and re enter just before it expires and you get a 60 day stamp which is extendable by 30 days.

it’s multiple entry for the entire validity of the visa. You can come and go as many times as you like. Each entry gives you 60 days.
