TLDR : Answer Summary
When re-entering Thailand on a multi-entry non-immigrant O visa, it is advisable to carry 20,000 baht in cash or its equivalent in other currencies. Although immigration officers may not always check this requirement, it is best to be prepared to avoid potential issues.

its best to be PREPARED. Carry the 20,000 Thb in CASH or its equivalent. With that I wish you safe travels and close commenting.

Yep. Or equivalent in other currency. That's the rule. If they check or not is a different story.

I’m going to the ATM in Thailand before I leave the country! I live here, so have to take the money out of Thailand, and then bring it back in the following month. Such a dumb policy.

Never been checked in 15 years of coming and going, but we know it’s all changed now. Ridiculous policy in 2019, and just plain dangerous to be carrying that much cash out of the airport.

I come in 3 times with the same Visa Type. One time checked, 2 times not.
