Do I need to file a TM30 for my boyfriend staying at my house in Bangkok with a DTV entry?

Hello, seeking for advice. My Boyfriend just got his DTV approved and he's going to stay at my house in Bangkok on his first arrival using DTV entry. Do I have to do TM30?

Thank you in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The consensus in the responses is that yes, a TM30 must be filed for your boyfriend if he is staying at your residence. If you are the housemaster listed on the "Tabian Baan" (house registration), you can file it yourself. If not, the landlord must do it. Alternatively, your boyfriend can file it personally at immigration. The filing can be done online or in person, with specific documents required depending on who is filing.

Yes maybe

If you’re the housemaster in the Tambien Bahn you can do the TM30

If your not the housemaster in the Tambien Bahn you will have to go to CW you have a 7 day window to do this

You can also do it online just make an account

Photocopy of the housemaster ID card,

Tambien Bahn,

Power of Attorney form (แบบฟอร์มมอบอำนาจ)

Your ID card photocopy

TDAC Photocopy

His passport photocopy

Visa photocopy

Immigration stamp photocopy

TM30 form

And fill out the spreadsheet page

Go to their new location floor 3

If you stay at the same residence you can do short trips in country without renewing it each time (CW allows)

Every time he returns from an international trip you must register every time

Online 24 hours…at CW 7 days

Thank you so much. I'm a house master in my Tabien Baan. My bad that I haven't gone through their website yet so my questions are pretty scattered. However what's CW? Is it the immigration office at government complex?

It’s just an abbreviation for

Chang Wattahna govt complex (CW) because I hate writing the entire name

Just a passport is not enough at most offices.

My office wants a lease or a letter from the landlord saying I am allowed to stay at the property.

Landlords ID, and ownership documents.

Should be easier if I go with him at Bangkok immigration bureau right? I will just have to take my land title deed. And can I do it at the same time we'll do a 90 days report?.

Anonymous participant It is supposed to be done within 24 hours of arrival.

It will only be easier if you go with him, if you are the owner and bring copies of all the paperwork.

... but then you might as well just register an account here for online filing.

Anonieme deelnemer You can already register your account when you have necessary documents. Then the TM30 registration itself can be done online when your boyfriend is in Bangkok. The online TM30 registration is just within a few minutes. My advise is to download the proof of registration PDF after doing this, as you might need it later and it is only downloadable for a limited time.

Whoever the landlord/owner/manager is where it is staying, will need to do the TM30.
