Can I re-submit my TM30 if I lost the receipt while waiting for my new passport?

Rather foolishly, the slip from the TM30 I did in-person at Chaeng Wattana has been lost. I'm currently renewing my passport, which should arrive in 4 weeks. Can I simply re-do my TM30 without penalty, despite not having stayed anywhere else? Should I wait until my new passport arrives, as presumably I'd need to update that information anyway, or should I do it before then as I don't have the old TM30 receipt anymore? Thanks. Yes, I'm kicking myself over this.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about re-submitting the TM30 form after losing the original receipt while waiting for a new passport. Comments from the community suggest that it's acceptable to submit the TM30 again to obtain a new receipt even without proof of staying elsewhere, and that once the new passport is received, the TM30 should be updated accordingly.

You can most of the time get a new slip. Your initial TM30 is in the system and your adress did not change. I always make a copy from the slip or at least a picture.

Yes, I have photos of my visa and current stamp. I'll be keeping one of the TM30 from now on. First time this has ever happened to me.

Do it online in the future and download the PDF file within 7 days of reporting (after 7 days you cannot download)

You can submit TM30 again now to get the latest receipt. No problem with or without a record of staying elsewhere. Anyway, you need to re-submit TM30 with your new passport when it comes and before you transfer stamps (if any).
