Hello, I need some serious advise regarding my NON B visa and WP cancellation. Both of them expires on 30th April, 2020 and I leave Thailland on the same day. So my question is that do I have to cancel both of them from labor office and immigration on 29th? I have never cancelled my NON B and WP before as I have always renewed. So please guide me what is the right way to do it. Thank you

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on whether they need to cancel their NON B visa and work permit (WP) before leaving Thailand, as both expire on the same day. According to comments, the work permit must be cancelled at the Ministry of Labor, while the NON B visa typically cancels automatically upon departure unless it has specific extensions, which need to be cancelled before leaving.

And now that we know the person is NOT on ANY Non-B visa but has been on extensions of stays for many years FROM an original Non-B issued inside the country (which doesn't really matter ;) )

AND that they need to go CANCEL their current extension BEFORE they leave the country to do things the proper way.

If the non b is a single entry then it gets cancelled automatically once you leave Thailand.

actually that's not quite true. A 90 day Non-B single entry visa gotten at a thai consulate is canceled when you ENTER the country (they stamp USED on it). You're here on the 90 day entry stamp so in that regard Jimmy you're correct, you don't cancel the 90 day entry stamp it cancels when you stamp out

You must cancel your work permit at the Ministry of Labor.

If you use a Non Immigrant B visa from a Thai Consulate and are still in the 90 days you got on entry, you do not have to cancel this at Immigration.

If you visited Immigration and got a new stamp with in the second line Extension of Stay is permitted up to ../../.. than this need to be cancelled before departure at immigration.

So your initial 90 days are dated in 2014 and that is a very long time ago. You applied every year for a new 1 year Extension of Stay, you must have about 6 of those big stamps in your passport.

YES, you need to cancel this before you leave the country.

If you are still in the initial 90 days, you do not have to cancel.

well my NON B stamp was taken from Bangkok immigration which was converted from my TR visa. In this case I need to cancel the visa from Chang Wattana before I fly out?

Bro, when I left in 2017 I had to go with my employer to the labour office to cancel my wp. But then the officer informed me that I wasn’t needed as my employer could have cancelled it.

Correct, others can go and cancel your work permit, but it is your responsibility it is done correctly.
