What should I do about the new No Criminal Record report requirement for the DTV visa application?
Hello everyone! A quick question about DTV visa’s new No Criminal Record report submission.
The police department in my region (Hong Kong) has two requirements:
1. Must have a letter directly from the Thai consulate requesting such criminal record report. The letter must include applicant’s name. They do not accept general guideline on Thai consulate website.
2. The No Criminal Record Letter will not be issued to applicant directly. It will only be sent to Thai consulate directly...which means the applicant cannot upload it themselves to the visa portal.
I wonder what to do...😱

If you apply with soft power category I would suggest contacting the police first to ask if they can accept a letter from the school or institute providing the Soft Power program instead.
