I’ve heard and read so many things about dtv. How long does the 15k need to be in my account and is there anything I need to consider coming from someone who’s recently gotten one.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The duration that the required 15k THB (Thai Baht) must remain in your account can vary significantly, depending on the embassy or consulate where you are applying for the Thai Digital Nomad Visa (DTV). Some embassies may require it to be held for a few months, while others might have different stipulations, such as a specific minimum period or immediate availability. It is advised to check the embassy's official website for the most accurate and detailed DTV requirements.

Depends where you're applying for the visa. Just go to the Embassy/Consulate website where you'll apply

It needs to be in the account as long as the embassy you are applying at says it does. So go to the website of the embassy you'll be applying at to find out their DTV requirements. It can be anywhere from 6 months to 1 hour.
