Hi,

I will stay to a friend of mine house in Koh Phagan. They ask a invitation letter, ID copy and propertie proof.

My friend rent, do you think renting contract will work or does she need to ask the owner ?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is staying at a friend's rental house in Koh Phangan and is unsure if a rental contract suffices as proof of residence for an invitation letter, or if they need the owner's consent. Comments suggest alternatives like booking a hotel for a night or that a simple handwritten invitation letter has worked in similar situations.

I used hand written invitation letter from my gf stating address , time frame with contact info. No issue .
