I have some friends coming in from America and trying to apply for a single entry tourist visa.
They need confirmation of booking from a hotel - the hotel we've booked them at has no online booking system no a physical address - it is on haad yuan bay.
They also seem to need a letter of invitation. Where can one get that?
Can anyone please help to advise? Thanks
XOXO

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user seeks guidance on obtaining a single-entry tourist visa for friends visiting Thailand without an online booking hotel and needing a letter of invitation. Community responses suggest getting email confirmation from the hotel, calling to book another hotel with a physical address, and clarify that a letter of invitation is needed only for stays at private addresses. Furthermore, the discussion notes that not all Thai consulates require booking confirmations or invitation letters for tourist visas.
Just to add there is no question on the application form of both links for an invitation letter? Only a proposed address. here you can download and see the application form,
seems not wanting to share the State of Residence for the friends seeking a Thai Tourist Visa in the USA.....we wish them success in their visa quest. Good Luck.
The hotel has no protocol for letter writing and no interest in writing letters. The officials seem to want a confirmation for the whole length of stay.
