Do I need approved health insurance for my Non-Immigrant OA visa extension in Thailand?

ORIGINAL POSTER
In August my Extension of Stay for my Non Imm, OA visa, based of retirement, is due for renewal.

My question is, do I still require the health insurance from one of the approved Thai insurance companies or, will my 'normal' policy suffice.

Thanks in advance

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking clarification on whether they need to obtain health insurance from approved Thai companies for their Non-Immigrant OA visa extension based on retirement, or if their regular health insurance policy will be sufficient.

This isn't an insurance advice group. We can't verify any third-party insurance companies that offer insurance. The only insurance company we can recommend is the official Thai government insurance site.

If you read the question I was only asking if the Thai insurance is required for extension of stay.

No more.

My comment wasn't directed at you, it was directed at the group in general. I didn't want to see this post become full of "contact person X at company Y for best deals"
