Any reason not to be able to get my stamp at Malaysian land border when re-entering on DTV? First renewal. Thanks for any helpful answers 🙂
Answer summary
There are no legal reasons preventing you from getting your stamp at the Malaysian land border when re-entering Thailand on a DTV visa. However, human factors such as potential corruption or individual discretion at the border may pose challenges. Generally, with a valid DTV, the risks of encountering issues at the border are minimal.

No legal reason, no - unless you are actually either broke or reasonably likely to intend to work in Thailand illegally. Beyond that, a human could be the reason - for various reasons: Ranging from corruption (wanting bribery) to just making things up. Like telling you that you would need to stay at least a night or two - or demanding documentation that was only necessary for getting the visa in the first place but should not be relevant on border crossing. In reality, with a valid DTV, your risk should be close enough to zero, though. So, happy re-entering.
