TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired about the necessity of obtaining a new O visa due to the coronavirus ('coranus') situation. Comments from the community suggested potential need for a visa extension, highlighting various requirements such as bank funds seasoning for 2 months and options related to marital status. It was emphasized that users should consult directly with their local immigration office for the most accurate guidance specific to each case.
go to your immigration office as soon as possible and speak to them. No one can say how each office will implement the new regulation.

You will likely have to extend for a year. To do this will require money seasoned in the bank for two months before the extension (800k for retirement, 400k for marriage).
That means you needed it in there today if it was going to be seasoned by September 26. There MIGHT be some flexibility on this point depending on your office, given the situation.
Depending on your nationality, your embassy may certify income in lieu of this banked money requirement. Or if you happen to have been transferring 65k/40k money in every month for the last 12 months, that could also qualify you.
If you are married, you may have the option of a 60-day visit Thai family extension that would give you an extra two months to get all this together. You don't have this option as an unmarried retiree.
This is all presuming that you are currently in Thailand and you want to stay here. You could maybe clarify the details of what exactly you have, what basis it was issued, where you are, and what you want to achieve.
