Last time I extended my O visa (based on marriage to Thai) they said something to the effect of "visa finished after this". Does this mean I have to leave Thailand to get a new visa before my current extension expires?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is concerned about the status of their O visa extension based on marriage to a Thai national, specifically whether they need to leave Thailand for a new visa after their current extension.

Thanks, James. I'm on my second one year extension, and since the expiration date of the actual visa only concerns the time window to enter Thailand, I didn't think there was a limit to how many extensions one could get on the same visa.
as long as you meet the requirements for the extension you can keep doing them over and over. Perhaps he may have been commenting if your passport is near to expiration. They will only do an extension until the expiry date of your passport (or one year - which ever is the sooner). Just a guess.

I assume you are now on the one year extension of stay as Married to Thai that you obtained a year ago.
The ONLY way to know is to contact your local Thai Immigration Office...ask them for their list of requirements forum one year extension of stay as Married to Thai.
