Going to Thailand on a non immigrant “o” visa, do I require a medical cert, health insurance, foreign insurance, cert of criminal clearance?
Started to fill form in on Thai official website and it asked for all the above. Am I on the right page?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The original query is about whether a medical certificate, health insurance, and criminal clearance are required for a Non-Immigrant ‘O’ Visa to Thailand. Responses clarify that these documents are not required for the Non-O visa, which is distinct from the Non-OA visa that has more stringent requirements. The discussions also noted that once in Thailand, the Non-O visa can be extended, especially for those over 50 who are considering retirement. Users advised selecting options accurately on the application to avoid confusion and mentioned that utilizing an agent can facilitate the extension process.

No. But remember your Visa cannot be extended by say 7 or 30 days.
But you can apply for a Non O Retirement Visa which will be treated as an extension NOT a new Visa. Significantly cheaper should you use an agent. Which I’d recommend for your first one.
Graham Seal - Yes it is, and you extend it. What it does do is give you time, I believed that mine was an O-A but the Police check was somehow invalid. So I was issued a Non - O . What it does do is allow 90 days to make choices. Extend if living here is for you. Go home if not. The 12K or so to the agent for the initial extension having chosen to stay was grief free and money well spent. The recent extension, I did myself. As I will continue to do.
the 90 day non-O from the embassy IS the retirement visa. You apply for annual extensions in Thailand, not visas. He'll never have a visa again if he just keeps getting annual extensions.
Ria Feel I think the word you’re looking for is extendable. You can apply for a one year stay permit with the non-o retirement visa once you’re in Thailand. It can’t be done on the website. And it’s a somewhat complicated process. I just did it.
When you say "going to Thailand" it makes it sound like you already have the visa. But your questions make it seem like that's not the case. Only the non-OA visa requires those things, but the non-O does not.
These are the correct options to choose for the non-O based on being over 50 (retirement).
